Do You Know About Noah?

An email from Noah to Lloyd [text abridged]

May 27, 2010

Hi! My name is Noah and I am 10 years old. I am doing a project in school about the forgotten war heroes the animals. I have to do a visual display, and presentation to my classmates then … and then if I do well I go to the next level of competition and to another level.  I am hoping to be a vet some day.

Well, as they say, the rest is history!

Noah went on to compete in the Regional Heritage Fair and won two awards. He decided to work towards erecting a monument…

Hi! I would like to tell you I am still working on setting up the monument in my community for the animals that have served in war.  I have raised 9300.00 so far. I know it is not a very big monument but I want to help in remembering all those animals that have given their lives and still are. I hope that maybe you would come to see it.  Thanks, Noah.

Jump forward to November 27, 2011 and on to March 2, 2012 – Noah faces his City Council and makes a pitch for the remaining funds needed to make his War Animals monument a reality.

Noah has been an inspiration to us all and hopefully to Canadian kids everywhere. We hope that kids from coast to coast to coast will join us in creating this national Dedication, that Canadians will be able to visit any time they wish.
